AI development coordination

Your coding agent can write the code. The workflow still needs an owner.

alterac.ai is an AI development coordination system. Plan the work, send clear tasks to local coding agents, and review every result in one place.

THE COORDINATION BOUNDARY

  1. 01

    Plan the work

Plan with alterac.ai and your coding agent, then publish the tasks you want to run.

  2. 02

    Run it locally

Choose a task and coding agent. alterac.ai sends the exact task context.

  3. 03

    Review the result

See what changed, then accept it, follow up, or start fresh.

The category problem

Capability is not coordination.

Coding agents can produce useful code. Teams still need a simple way to plan the work, start the right local agent, keep each attempt clear, and decide what happens next.

  • HOW IT FITS

    Coding agents

Write, inspect, and change code from the context they receive.

alterac.ai gives each run a clear task, then keeps the result connected to that task.

  • HOW IT FITS

    IDEs and editors

Give people and agents a place to navigate, edit, and debug code.

Keep the editor you already use. alterac.ai coordinates the work around it.

  • HOW IT FITS

    Issue trackers

Track software work, ownership, priority, and status.

alterac.ai replaces that step for AI-assisted software work, then adds agent dispatch, exact run context, review, and recovery.

  • HOW IT FITS

    Git hosts and CI platforms

Version code, host code review, and validate or deliver changes.

Keep those systems in place. alterac.ai connects their review link to the task and its decision history.

01 · Plan the work

Start with one clear task—or shape related work before it enters the project.

Use a direct task when the work is already known. When an AI planning conversation needs to become a coordinated set, Task Builder keeps the proposed Plan and tasks together as drafts for review.

DIRECT WORK

Create the task you are ready to run.

Define the outcome, boundaries, and acceptance criteria directly when one known task does not need a planning session.

REVIEWED DRAFTS

Publish the complete plan only when it is ready.

AI can keep refining structured Plan and task drafts, but a person reviews and publishes the complete draft session. Nothing becomes project work automatically.

The conversation is not the system of record.

Project work begins at an explicit publication boundary. Its scope, order, and acceptance criteria become durable project context, and each later run receives its own captured copy of the task.

02 · Run it locally

Configure the command once. Run agents where your code lives.

Add the local command for the coding agent you already use. When you queue a task, the listener starts that command in your repository with the exact work-run ID. Codex and Claude Code are documented examples; other tools can work when they offer a compatible local command, without implying a native integration or provider endorsement.

Human control where it matters

You decide what gets planned, run, and accepted.

Coding agents do the work. People choose the boundaries before a run starts and decide what happens when it comes back.

  1. 01

    Plan and publish

Plan with your coding agent. Publish the Plan and tasks only when the work is ready.

  2. 02

    Choose the local agent

Pick the configured coding agent that should handle each task.

  3. 03

    Approve the command

Pause before a new or changed local command starts when your trust setting requires it.

  4. 04

    Decide what happens next

Accept the result, request a follow-up, or start again with clean task context.

Your machine. Your permissions.

Configured commands run with the operating-system permissions of the person running the listener. alterac.ai is not a sandbox and does not reduce those permissions.

The coding-agent terminal keeps its own output. Separate controls still own privacy, compliance, isolation, and what the agent may do.

03 · Review the result

A failed attempt does not have to become an ambiguous next prompt.

Every work run keeps its task context, summary, AI hand-off, review link, comments, and outcome together.

If a run stops, choose a clean restart or continue with a recorded explanation. You still stop the old local process yourself, and alterac.ai will not accept its late output after a replacement starts.

OBSERVATIONS, NOT SCORES

Delivery evidence with its limits attached.

Project Metrics shows completed-task throughput and per-task distributions for AI work and working-hours human review. Definitions, samples, and exclusions stay visible. These observations are not productivity, quality, effort, ROI, or individual-performance scores.

The self-case study connects dated artifacts, review hand-offs, recovery, and project observations from one experienced engineer. It is observational, not randomized or independently validated, and it does not prove a productivity gain or predict another team's result.

Fit before promotion

The right coordination system depends on the workflow you actually want.

alterac.ai is for repository-based developers and software teams that want one system for planned work, local agents, and human review.

Consider alterac.ai

  • You want one place to plan software work, assign it to people or agents, review results, and track progress.
  • Your coding agents run locally against software in Git repositories.
  • People should control plan publication, command approval, and review decisions.

Consider it conditionally

  • You use one coding agent today but want a workflow that can grow with you.
  • Your tool is not named in the Docs, but its installed program offers a compatible local command.
  • You also manage cross-functional work and need to confirm the software-focused task and Plan model covers enough of it.

Choose another category

  • You need a coding model, IDE, Git host, CI platform, cloud agent runtime, or provider-managed sandbox.
  • You expect transcript capture, cross-tool chat memory, automatic conflict resolution, or unattended acceptance.
  • You need a productivity score, individual ranking, guaranteed ROI, or a promise that every agent tool works natively.
