Who these terms cover

Alterac Software LLC, a Wyoming company, provides alterac.ai. These terms apply when you visit the site, create an account, or use the service, whether for yourself or an organization. Contact us at [email protected] with service or legal questions. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to make decisions for it.

Accounts and licenses

Keep your account information accurate and protect your password, authenticator, recovery codes, and devices. You are responsible for activity through your account and for deciding who can access your organization and projects.

A new organization starts with one no-cost license. If it buys licenses, the purchased allocation replaces that initial license; it does not add to it. Paid licenses and any guided services are governed by the applicable signed order, including price, term, payment, renewal, cancellation, and any refund terms. If an order conflicts with these terms on a paid commercial matter, the order controls that matter.

Your work and tools

You remain responsible for the content you and your team provide. You keep any rights you have in that content and allow us to store, process, and display it as needed to provide the service to you and the people you authorize. Do not submit material you lack the right to use or share, or put account secrets into shared content.

If you connect outside tools, including AI tools, you are responsible for their configuration, permissions, and output. Review any generated or suggested work before relying on it. Outside services may have their own terms and charges.

Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and within your authority. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, bypass account or license restrictions, distribute malicious content, impersonate others, or violate another person’s rights. We may restrict access when reasonably needed to address misuse, a security risk, or a legal requirement.

Availability and leaving the service

We may change the service and do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular support response time under these general terms. A signed order may provide different commitments. Organization owners can delete their organizations. Deletion removes live organization and project records, while backup copies may remain as described in the Privacy Policy.

Before deleting an organization or losing access, use the application and available API to retrieve information you need. We do not provide a dedicated full-data export or promise that information can be recovered after deletion.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Except for commitments expressly made in a signed order, we provide the service as available and without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement, to the extent the law permits. You are responsible for checking whether the service and any output meet your needs.

To the extent permitted by law, Alterac Software LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, business opportunities, or data arising from use of the service. Its total liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or $100. These limits apply regardless of the legal theory, but do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited. A signed order may set different limits for its paid services.

Changes to these terms

The version and effective date shown with these terms identify the current published text. We may update the terms as the service changes. If a new version requires your agreement to keep using the service, we will ask you to review and accept it in the application. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
