Change your email

Update the email used for your account and confirm the new address before it takes effect.

Change your account email from Account settings when you need to use a different inbox for sign-in and account recovery.

Change the address

  1. Open Account settings in the app.
  2. In the email section, enter the new email address and complete the requested confirmation.
  3. Open the confirmation email sent to the new address and use its link.

The new address takes effect only after confirmation. Keep access to your current inbox until you finish, because alterac.ai sends a security notice when an email change is requested and again when it completes.

If alterac.ai cannot send the confirmation email, your current address stays active. Keep the new address in the form and select Send confirmation again to request a fresh email.

If you no longer control either inbox, do not repeatedly submit change requests. Restore access to your current account email first, or use the recovery path in Fix account access.
