Fix account access
Recover from confirmation, password, authenticator, recovery-code, and profile-completion sign-in problems.
Use this page when you cannot finish account setup or sign in. Protect your password, authenticator codes, and recovery codes: alterac.ai will not ask you to bypass a security step.
Check that you used the same email address shown in the account flow. Look for the confirmation message, including in spam or filtered mail. If the page offers Resend confirmation email, request a fresh message and use its newest link.
The expected result is a confirmation message followed by the next account-setup step. If the link has expired, request another message rather than repeatedly using the old one.
If the page asks you to wait, leave it open so your email stays in place. Submit once after the action becomes available. The retry message deliberately does not confirm whether the address has an account. If a delivery problem continues after one fresh request, check spam or filtering and contact your alterac.ai operator; they cannot replay a stored message, but they can restore delivery so you can request a new one.
Select Forgot password? from the sign-in page, request a password-reset message for the account email, and set a new password from the newest valid link. Return to sign in with that new password.
The expected result is an authenticator challenge or your normal signed-in destination. If you do not receive the reset message, first recheck the email address and request a new message; do not disclose account details to anyone who cannot verify that they own the address.
If the reset page asks you to wait, keep the entered address in place and submit once after the send action becomes available. Repeated requests do not reveal whether an account exists. If a new message still does not arrive after checking spam or filtering, contact your alterac.ai operator and request another one after they confirm delivery is available.
Enter a current code from the authenticator that was connected during setup. If that device is unavailable, choose the recovery-code option and enter one unused recovery code. A recovery code works once, so save any remaining codes securely after you regain access.
The expected result is a completed sign-in. If you no longer have the authenticator or any recovery code, ask your alterac.ai operator for administrator-assisted authenticator recovery. A platform administrator can send a 30-minute single-use link only to the account's existing verified email; you must still enter your current password before a new authenticator setup key is shown.
Starting recovery revokes existing browser sessions and CLI credentials but does not disable the previous authenticator. If you regain it, sign in normally and cancel the pending recovery from Account settings. See Manage an authenticator for the complete flow.
Complete the required profile fields shown after sign-in, then save the form. This step is part of account setup, so project and task pages remain unavailable until it succeeds.
The expected result is access to the application after the profile is saved.
