Release notes for v1.7.0
Edit Task Builder drafts in the browser, protect reviewed CLI changes, and get clearer organization and project setup guidance.
Refine Task Builder drafts directly in the browser before publishing. New accounts also get clearer guidance from creating or joining an organization to completing a first task.
- Edit Building drafts in the browser. Change task type, title, Markdown, optional Mass or Weight, same-session Plan membership and dependencies, and project labels. Unsaved changes are protected by discard prompts and version checks; CLI replacements can also check the reviewed version with
--expected-updated-at. See Refine proposed Plans and draft tasks. - Find your first organization and task. Empty organization and project views explain how to create an organization or get access to an existing team. Projects without tasks link to the first-task guide.
- Get clearer coding-agent guidance. The coding-agent overview explains the requirements for bringing your own agent through a compatible local command. The named agents are examples, with their documented verification limits.
- Contact sales from pricing. Sales email addresses now open your email application when selected.
- Find the founder podcast conversation. Home features an AI Operators Podcast appearance, and the self case study links to the relevant chapter.
- Browser editing applies to Building drafts. Published snapshots remain read-only. Draft creation, proposed Plan definitions, ordering, metric exclusion, and Sprint/Milestone assignments continue through the CLI.
- Older CLI versions still work, but replacements without a reviewed version can overwrite newer changes. Check command help for
--expected-updated-atand install an available release if your executable lacks the option. After a conflict, read the latest draft, review and merge your changes, then retry with its timestamp.
