Create an account

Create an alterac.ai account, confirm your email, and set up two-factor authentication before entering the app. This usually takes a few minutes if you have an authenticator app available.

Use an email inbox you can access and an authenticator app that can generate six-digit codes. Choose a private place to store recovery codes when they are shown.

1. Open Sign up and enter your email, password, and confirmation.
2. Use at least 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, a digit, and a symbol for your password.
3. Select Get started. alterac.ai opens Check your email.
4. Open the confirmation link in the email from alterac.ai. The confirmation page tells you when your email is confirmed.
5. Return to Log in and enter your email and password.

If the message does not arrive, return to the verification page, confirm the email address, and select Resend email. If a confirmation link no longer works, request a fresh email and use the newest link.

If alterac.ai asks you to wait before trying again, your entered information stays on the page. Wait until the action becomes available, then submit once. The same retry guidance appears whether or not an address is already connected to an account; only a message arriving in that inbox confirms that email was sent.

After your first login, alterac.ai asks you to set up two-factor authentication.

Two-factor authentication is required for every account from the start. It adds a step during sign-up, but it gives every account stronger protection from the beginning.

1. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
2. If scanning is unavailable, use the manual setup key shown on the page. It represents the same secret as the QR code, so keep it private.
3. Enter the six-digit code from the app and select Verify and continue.
4. Save the recovery codes shown next. You must acknowledge that you saved them before continuing.

The app then asks you to finish your profile with your required display name. Add it and select Save profile to enter alterac.ai. You can update your profile later from account settings.

Recovery codes are one-time backup codes for when you cannot use your authenticator app. Copy or download them only to a private location you control, such as a password manager or secure offline storage. Do not send them in chat, email, or a task comment.

Your account is ready for alterac.ai after email confirmation, authenticator setup, recovery-code acknowledgement, and profile completion. An organization owner or admin can then add you to an organization or project when you need team access.
