Archive and review sessions
Find Building and Published Task Builder Sessions, control archive visibility, and review publication history.
Use the Task Builder list to find the plan you need without confusing visibility with lifecycle. You can review current Building sessions, published history, and archived sessions from the website.
- Open Task Builder for the project.
- Choose the Building, Published, or archived view that matches the session you need.
- Open the session to inspect its summary and drafts, or restore it if it is archived and you want it back in its normal view.
Expected result: archive visibility changes only where the session appears; it does not change whether the session is Building or Published.
Task Builder separates sessions into views for Building, Published, and archived sessions. Building is where proposed drafts remain under review. Published is the history of sessions that you explicitly published.
Open a session to inspect its summary and drafts. A Published session preserves the created Plan identities, links draft tasks to available created tasks, and shows the Plan each task was created in or that it was created as Standalone. It is not editable. Use the normal task areas in alterac.ai for task changes after publication.
Archive a session when you want to remove it from the usual list without deleting it. You can archive a Building session or a Published session, then use the archived view to find or restore it later.
Archiving changes IsArchived only. It does not publish a Building session, unpublish project tasks, cancel a plan, or add another lifecycle state. A restored session returns to its appropriate Building or Published view.
Published sessions are historical records of the complete proposed Plan and draft-task set that was published. They preserve created identifiers, numbers, and whether each task was created in a Plan or as Standalone, even when a live task is later moved or deleted. Archiving the session changes only its own visibility.
If an archived Building session is ready and you choose to publish it, its resulting published history remains archived. Review the visibility warning before you confirm publication.
Use the archived view to find a session you have hidden from the usual Building or Published lists. A Published session remains read-only; to make draft changes, select a current Building session in your local AI conversation.
